The macroscopic surfaces come from Z-Anatomy / BodyParts3D. Named cortical regions, deep nuclei, ventricles, cerebellar subdivisions, brainstem, skull bones, teeth, facial muscles, vessels, cranial nerves and visual structures retain a common atlas coordinate frame.

Dissect, your way

Open groups in the structure tree or click their labels. Use the depth slider to move from assembled anatomy to major groups, subgroups and individual source parts. Checkboxes hide any group or part independently. Opacity applies to the current group; Restore all and Undo recover hidden parts. The finest level shows up to 24 parts per page. Exploded group sizes are normalized for inspection. The display hierarchy is an editorial organization of source groups, not a clinical ontology.

Explore

Use the depth slider to travel through four chapters. In Dissect, scroll or pinch to zoom, Shift + scroll to explode, and drag to orbit at any depth. Display offers surface styles and adjustable clipping planes. Cutaway opens the near half of the skull; Hemispheres separates the cerebral sides. Choose a system, search a structure, then inspect or isolate it. Vascular and cranial nerve branches keep their relative positions. The controls also work with the depth slider on touch screens.

Interpretation

This is a representative adult atlas, not a patient scan. Colours are explanatory; eye shading is illustrative rather than an optical simulation. Exploded positions are display arrangements, not surgical steps; the cutaway has an open boundary and does not depict a tissue section. Some lower continuations are clipped at the neck. Individual variation, microscopic structures and all fine branches are not represented. The atlas has not received independent clinical validation. Functional notes are introductory, not an exhaustive map of brain function.
